The Lies police tell when they kill

The simplicity of this story is that another black man was murdered and the Courts justified it. A pattern of abuse of police power in the black community continues to happen one way or the other. Either through grossly disproporationate sentences or absolutely nothing at all! So who cares if 50 shots were fired, or that the officers had to reload and keep shooting into a car with unharmed men! The barrage of bullets probably resembled that of a firing squad. Was this a conspiracy to murder Shawn Bell? Over and over I keep asking myself who was he. What prompted the undercover officers who were at a strip club, to actually be listening to Bell and his friends, to hear that he said "get my gun". Then follow Bell out to his car and yell police freeze with no apparent motive.
New York continues to have a pattern with black men and police and all murders are justified when it involves the police. When is enough, enough? Sure we can rally and protest too, but until the search comes from within the system, no man or woman is safe. I can remember when they beat Rodney King over and over, then kicked and hit him. Rodney had acquired a charge of assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. The charges would have stuck too except one person had a video camera and had filmed it. Now what was resisting arrest turn out to be officers being fired and sued for their assault on Rodney. Unfortunately no video was captured and now it falls on their words against the police, the police won!
So don't take my word for it the next time you hear about a police shooting of a black man and he dies, look at the excuses and see if they resemble these.

Vigilante Parents

Have you ever looked at a child's face when you told him or her that they could not see the non custodial parent?It is wrong for any parent to prevent a child from bonding with their parent? Parents, you have a responsibility to pay for children you bring into this world, the money is to help with their general welfare. Providing a roof over their head, feeding, clothing, the list goes on. There is simply no excuse for denying your children their money. Equally I do not condone parents being denied access to see their kids. I guess it all boils down to educating parents and would be parents on the untold consequences this has on the innocent parties - the children.I personally thing that the vigilante parents that talk the law in their hand should suffer the consequences of their actions. If they think that because the dad did not pay child support that he should not see the child is not their call. They should be forced to sit in jail for the weekend while the child spends time with the non custodial parent. I think after that the problem will be resolved.

I generally don't listen to am but I was bored one afternoon and decide to scroll through the AM dial. I hear this buffoon on the radio, they call him Rush Limbaugh. He is proud of a plan that he has concocted called Operation Chaos. He has been advocating to his listeners who are republican to go out and register Democrat and vote for Hillary Clinton. The plan is to allow Clinton to win the democratic nomination and then let McClain beat Clinton in the general election. Okay we know the plan now we need to create our own plan or we are destined to have another republican in office. Gas at $4.00 dollars a gallon is killing me and if we don't fight for us, who will... My Surprise Birthday

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up that morning.I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!", and possibly have a present for me. As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy Birthday." I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids will remember. My kids came in to breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent. As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good Morning Boss,Happy Birthday!" It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered. I worked until one o'clock and then Jane knocked on my door and said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it's your birthday, let's go out to lunch, just you and me." I said, "Thanks Jane, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!" We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. We dined instead at a little place with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously. On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day..We don't need to go back to the office, do we?" I responded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind?" She said, "Let's go to my apartment." After arriving at her apartment, Jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for a moment. I'll be right back." "Ok." I nervously replied. She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birth-day cake .. Followed by my wife, kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday". And I just sat there...On the couch.. Naked

A little accident

To my darling husband,Before you return from your trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately, not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry too much about me.I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway, I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt when it bumped into your car. I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me. Child Support Guidelines changing

Child support has now began imposing guidlines that takes both parent income into consideration. Now the woman's income is used when deciding what the father will pay. Also the medical care will be split evenly between the parents. This new ruling is not to benefit the father, but more of a benefit for the child. Now that woman income are much higher than most men, the new law now forces the court to look at the womans income first before issuing a child support order that effects the man.

The argument that court has used is that all this is done for the child, but what if their are other children that live with the father? A violation of one childs constitiutional rights so that you can protect anothers rights, is that fair? Make one child suffer so that another child can live better. The Court is becoming aware that the father has another family, so the Court has to figure out ways to make it fair to both sets of childern!

Dangers of Generic Tooth Paste

I recently wrote a story about tooth paste and how fluoride was also used in rat poison and insecticides. Now today I learn about tooth paste sold at the dollar store and how its not good for my health. The studies that found out that generic toothpaste contained ethylene glycol this stuff is used to make coolants we call it anti-freeze. They have a generic version of colgate and it is considered the worse. So if you are like many American right now, you are trying to save a buck, but the manufactures don't the decency to place a disclaimer on that product. Like the big one on Anti freeze, brake and transmission fluids. It says Warning you drink this you are in trouble! Right now when you are caught between a rock and a hard place. You have to make a decision price vs cost. You see price is what we pay for that toothpaste, a $1.00 and you save some money. The cost is the long time negative effect that it could have on you and your family's life. If years later you develop cancer because of using that tooth paste and have to go through extreme cases of radiation treatment, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. Would the dollar or two you save from buying the generic tooth paste be worth it? There has to be a point when self preservation says your life is worth that extra 3,4 or 5 dollars.
Sometimes just because they say its good, does not mean it is good!

NJ Cops

Two men were driving through New Jersey when they got pulled over by a NJ cop. The cop walked up and tapped on the window with his nightstick.The driver rolled down the window and WHACK," the cop smacked him in the head with his nightstick."What the hell was that for?" the driver asked."You're in New Jersey, son," the cop answered. "When we pull you over in New Jersey, you better have your license ready by the time we get to your car." "I'm sorry, officer, " the driver said, "I'm from New York and didn't know your laws here."The cop runs a check on the guy's license--he's clean and gives the guy his license back. The cop then walks around to the passenger side and taps on the window. The passenger rolls down the window and "WHACK," the cop smacks him on the head with the nightstick. "What'd you do that for?" the passenger demands. Just making your wish come true," replied the cop. "Making WHAT wish come true?" the passenger asked. "Because I know you New Yorkers," the cop says, "two miles down the road ; you're gonna turn to your buddy and say....." I wish that asshole would've tried that shit with me!"

Obese childern

Children in America are suffering from many more health issues and the main reason is the obesity in America. Over 50 percent of the American population is overweight and one-quarter have reached dangerous obesity levels. The parents laziness is now being inherited by the children. Now days people don't have that get up and go, now it is time to get up and eat! They are consuming high levels of non-nutritional foods which is leading to many chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiac arrests, and other preventable illnesses. We are now conditioned to buy larger sizes and pay more for the extra x. The reality is more parents are watching their children die before them because of poor diets and lack of exercise.

The reason why kids are so obese is because they are consuming unhealthy amounts of foods that contain too much sugar, fats, and oils. They are not eating nutritional foods such as, fruits, whole grains, and vegetables. People of this generation prefer to have everything quick and efficient, which includes their food. Americans are fast-food junkies and are more than happy to not cook their own meals. I have noticed when I was growing up we had no choice but to get out of the house and run and play! Please understand that kids don't need diets...

What they need is an adequate consumption of fruit and vegetables with exercise. With this video age where kids spend hours in front of the TV and the computer they have no time to burn off the junk that they ate. If you don't believe me look ate the pictures of the kids who weigh as much as adults! Perhaps if we provide these students with healthier foods and physical activity daily they will have a better opportunity to look like these kids that are running and playing.

Hurricanes Start in Africa

My fiance and were arguing the other day about where Hurricanes came from. I argued that they developed off the gulf of Mexico. She said they came from Africa. I was wrong, This is the information that I found. During hurricane season, thunderstorms form over Africa and travel west across the Atlantic, where some develop into tropical cyclones. For hurricanes to develop, specific environmental conditions must be present: warm ocean water, high humidity and favorable atmospheric and upward spiraling wind patterns off the ocean surface.

The Atlantic hurricanes usually start as weak tropical disturbances off the West African coast and intensify into rotating storms with weak winds, called tropical depressions. Once the winds exceed 35 miles per hour, the system, now called a "tropical storm," gets an alphabetical name.

The storm now has the circular structure of a hurricane, although it may not become one. Powered by solar heat that was stored in the ocean and then transferred into the warm, moist air, the tropical storm becomes a hurricane once winds exceed 74 miles per hour. (You might expect a rotating storm to whirl itself apart, but hurricanes feed on themselves to gain strength. In their energy flow, hurricanes resemble large thunderstorms. But while thunderstorms can start over land or water, hurricanes only start over water. Hurricanes also last much longer, carry far greater energy, and cause much greater destruction. Due to the Coriolis effect, the lower levels of a tropical cyclone start rotating counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, but clockwise in the Southern. Eyeball the eye wall Hurricane winds whirl around the bizarrely calm "eye," a circular region with little wind, no rain and often a blue sky. The placid eye is surrounded by a circular "eye wall" of furious, thunderstorm-type clouds and the fiercest winds.

Gargantuan winds, combined with extremely low atmospheric pressure near the eye, cause a catastrophic rise in sea level called a storm surge. This destructive mound of water, topped with furious, wind-whipped waves, can hoist the surface 20 feet above average sea level, causing biblical-scale flooding along coastlines. Although storm surges are the most dangerous element of these storms, water causes another problem: All that condensing moisture eventually falls as torrential rain. Although hurricane winds slow as they move inland and become deprived of energy, rains can still be drenching. A hurricane starts with a tropical disturbance. The warmth and moisture of the ocean during late summer and early fall months (when ocean waters reach their highest temperatures) energizes the pre-storm conditions and leads to thunderstorms. Tropical storms that continue to intensify will keep pulling in warm and humid air from the lower atmosphere while spitting out cooler, drier air into the upper atmosphere. , at this point in its development, the storm system operates like a huge "heat engine." "The 'heat engine' gets its energy from warm, humid air over the tropical ocean and releases this heat through the condensation of water vapor," . This energy release is what drives the powerful winds of a hurricane. Hurricanes are often accompanied by severe flooding.

The force of the release is tremendous—the amount of heat energy released by an average hurricane is equivalent to the amount of electric energy produced by the U.S. in an entire year. A small portion of the energy released actually warms what has become the inner core of the storm. As the temperature of the air in the inner core rises, its pressure drops, increasing the speed and intensity of the winds swirling around it. These stronger winds bring more warm, moist air to the clouds surrounding the inner core of the storm further fueling its energy. When the swirling winds reach a speed of 74 miles per hour or more, the tropical storm becomes a hurricane. Once a storm officially becomes a hurricane, it receives an intensity rating based on its wind speed and potential to cause damage. As a hurricane develops, its intensity rating often changes. ICategory Once hurricanes have wind speeds between 74 and 95 miles per hour and are expected to cause minimal damage to buildings and homes. Trees, shrubbery and mobile homes tend to bear the brunt of the damage caused by Category One hurricanes. With wind speeds reaching 100 miles per hour, this is typical of a Category Two storm. Category Three and Four hurricanes are characterized by even stronger winds and much more damage to homes, buildings and trees. The most intense classification of a storm is the Category Five hurricane. A Category Five storm will have sustained winds of 155 miles per hour or more and is capable of extensive damage. The inner core of the hurricane is known as the eye of the storm—a calm, often clear-skied patch where winds are lightest and pressure is lowest. Surrounding the paradoxically calm region of the hurricane is a ring of clouds called the eye wall. The eye wall clouds are thunderstorm clouds, and it is in this region of the hurricane where the heaviest rains and winds originate. The outermost ring of the hurricane is made up of bands of heavy rains that swirl inward toward the storm's center, called spiral rain bands. While the clouds and rain bands are forming in the sky above, the weather on the land below the hurricane turns nasty. The spiraling winds that accompany hurricanes can extend even further beyond the eye of the storm.

Typically, hurricanes are about 300 miles wide, so they can affect fairly large areas at one time. Unfortunately for those in its path, a hurricane's speed of travel is hard to predict and varies greatly from storm to storm. Weather experts have calculated that hurricanes move forward at an average speed of 15-20 miles per hour, but a big storm also has the potential to linger over one area for a while, causing torrential rains, or move so quickly that there is no time to prepare for its arrival. Eventually, a hurricane's energy begins to dissipate and the storm weakens. Weather experts have identified several factors that contribute to a hurricane's demise, including the storm's movement over cooler water or drier areas. Even when a hurricane appears to have blown over, however, it can potentially re intensify if it hits weather conditions that are favorable for its development. Every year between June 1 and November 30 (commonly called hurricane season), hurricanes threaten the ­eastern and gulf coasts of the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. In other parts of the world, the same types of storms are called typhoons or cyclones. Hurricanes wreak havoc when they make landfall, and they can kill thousands of people and cause billions of dollars of property damage when they hit heavily ­populated areas.

The Million Man March was a when one million black men marched to Washington D.C. in 1995. Then 2 years later The Million Women March took place.

Then in 2007 we banned together because of a white tree, we had a march for "Jena 6". Martin you would have been proud of the unity that the world gained when black and whites and all nationalities stood together to fight against injustice! Martin the march started simple where a radio personality Michael Baisden wanted to go down to Jenna Louisiana to protest the injustice of a sentence that was being imposed on a young man for a fight. A few weeks later their was over 30,000 people marching for a cause. The beauty of the march was a true representation of your cause, non violence! The march opened the worlds eyes and made everyone think! Then Mr King I am so proud to tell you of Genarlow Wilson who had been convicted of aggravated child molestation because, at the age of seventeen, he had engaged in oral sex with a consenting fifteen-year-old at a New Year's Eve party. The Supreme Courts looked at his cases after a public up roar to over turn his case. Without the stand for justice this young man would still be locked up...

Martin we now have a black man and a woman fighting for the democratic nomination. Either way history is made, for either a black man or a woman will get the nod as a presidential candidate! I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply. He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you." We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. "Move out of the way," I said with a frown. He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken. While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said, "While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor, You'll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes." By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt by his bed; "Wake up, little one, wake up," I said. "Are these the flowers you picked for me?" He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. The worlds smallest girl

Jyoti Amge, 15, just about 59.69 cm in height and 5.25 kg in weight, answers a call at her home in Nagpur, India. The teenager, the world's smallest girl by the Indian Book of Records, has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. Now fully grown, Amge enjoys her life with full confidence for the future.

How to resolve our high gas prices

I suppose if you have not looked lately you did not see that the price of gas goes up every other week, and keeps reaching record highs. Over an over again we keep complain about when is it going to stop! The candidates whether they are democrats or republicans are not making the economy a number 1 priority, currently the war is. The United States have fallen into a recession. Yet we keep extending our hand to other countries trying to help them resolve their issues. So what do they do for us after we help them with their problems? Absolutely nothing!

Hey here is an ideal we are over in Iraq making that country free of dictatorship, why not make the country pay us back for the cost of liberating them from the torture chambers of Saddam Hussein. Iraq's sustainable oil production capacity is almost 3 million barrels per day. The earth beneath Iraqi sands holds more than 112 billion barrels of oil – the world's second largest proven reserves – and unexplored regions could yield an additional 100 billion barrels, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Iraq also contains 110 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. And yet this war has nearly bankrupted our treasury. The Republicans continue to pump money from American taxpayers to support this unpopular war instead of pumping Iraqi oil. We have spent 500 billion, half a trillion dollars so far on making the Sunni triangle safe for democracy, but it hasn't even kept our own soilders safe. The month that President Bush was sworn into office, gas was $1.30 a gallon. This week, gas is averaging $3.30 a gallon, and near $5 a gallon in Los Angeles. Two dollars a gallon more for the war on terror! Make the Iraqis foot the bill for their own liberation! When the Republican Party stops depleting the tax base for this endless war, Iraq's oil can be used to rebuild their country and pay us back. Now it is time for the 24 million liberated Iraqis to pay back their liberators. With the one resource they have – oil.

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd." I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friend tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him.

So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives." He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play football on Saturday with my friends and me. He said yes. We hung all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him. And my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Hey boy, you are going to really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!"

He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to duke. I knew that we would always be Friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a Doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle Was valedictorian of our class? I teased him all the time about being a Nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it Wasn’t me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found him during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than me and all the girls loved him! Boy, sometimes I was jealous. Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.

"Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give him or her. I am going to tell you a Story." I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go Through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way.

No arms or Legs

When you first look at this photo would you believe this man has no arms or legs? That he has given over 1,600 speeches and traveled to 12 nations.


I was awed at his level of achievement that he had accomplished thus far in his young life. The ability to function without allowing his handicap, to handicap him is the story that inspired me to write about Nick Vujicic . You see his life is not made up of excuse in fact it is something more than that. His inspiration is what makes his star shine in everyday life. You would think that he needs words of inspiration to inspire him to get up and go, but it is quite the opposite he is an evangelist and corporate motivational speaker. He fills stadiums with tens of thousands of people wanting to hear his words about his life.



Even though he can not shake hands he always ask everyone to greet him with a hug. Nick says sometimes people get very emotional when they see him. They relate to him not because they have no arms or legs, but because they understand about being alone, confused and rejected. Nick says he believes in god and ask him often to given him limbs, but he says if he don't get them he does not let that discourage him, for he is secure within himself.




Nick said when he was younger his mother told him that when people start to stare at you speak, and that's just what he has been doing. At 17 he started speaking at groups, at 19 he received dozens of invitations to speak.


Nick at 25 has bought a home in Southern California and started a non-profit organization called "Life with out Limbs". Within the last 6 months his staff has grown from 3 to 10 people and he has a personal assistant that helps him with his daily routine.



So the reason that I put this story together is not to show you what Nick has done, but to show you what you can do, for a little faith can go a long way! Nick lives by this creed, that if life knocks you down, then you have to get up!You just have to believe you can do it...

The Danger of Fluoride

Did you know that fluoride is used as an insecticide and RAT POISON! Fluoridation has been linked to immune system alteration, muscule skeletal harm, genetic damage, thyroid dysfunction, and even cancer.
Fluoride, like anything, is poisonous in large doses but getting to that level is difficult unless you go around drinking fluoride solutions or swallowing toothpastes and its use in strong concentrations . The water is fluoridated in the USA because it makes the enamel of your teeth more resistant to decay but as you know fuoride is suppose to reduce cavity's... Although when I received a root canal because of a cavity. I am wondering what early prevention is it suppose to help?

There is however a condition called fluorosis caused by high consumption of fluoride while the teeth are still growing. This can cause damage to the teeth which ranges from white discolorations to brown and pitted teeth.

Do you think all that's worth preventing cavities? Before you answer that, I have one more wrench to toss at you. More and more studies are showing that ingesting fluoride has absolutely no bearing on preventing tooth decay. And now the American Dental Association is advising that parents NOT give fluoridated water to babies - BECAUSE IT CAN CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE! The idea of public water fluoridation was once widely embraced in Europe, but has been banned on the evidence in Scotland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, and France, among others. I. But what's really ironic is this: fluoride doesn't even prevent cavities! Does fluoride help your teeth?Yeah, I am sure it does and smoking is good for your lungs, too! I now use a toothpaste called Tom's, I admit it does have a unique taste but it does not have fluoride. I always check and reasearch the topic first before I share the information with others, and if the results are true, I quite using the product.

Contrary to what your dentist might tell you, you don't need fluoride to have healthy teeth just good dental hygiene.

Federal Judge Ruled black women no longer have rights to name their childern

After Judge Cabrera’s historic ruling, little Clitoria Jackson will likely undergo a name change. (DETROIT) In a decision that’s expected to send shockwaves through the African-American community—and yet, give much relief to teachers everywhere—a federal judge ruled today that black women no longer have independent naming rights for their children. Too many black children—and many adults—bear names that border on not even being words, he said. “I am simply tired of these ridiculous names black women are giving their children,” said U.S. Federal Judge Ryan Cabrera before rendering his decision. “Someone had to put a stop to it.” The rule applies to all black women, but Cabrera singled out impoverished mothers. “They are the worst perpetrators,” he said. “They put in apostrophes where none are needed. They think a ‘Q’ is a must. There was a time when Shaniqua and Tawanda were names you dreaded. Now, if you’re a black girl, you hope you get a name as sensible as one of those.” Few stepped forward to defend black women—and black women themselves seemed relieved. “It’s so hard to keep coming up with something unique,” said Uneeqqi Jenkins, 22, an African-American mother of seven who survives on public assistance. Her children are named Daryl, Q’Antity, Uhlleejsha, Cray-Ig, Fellisittee, Tay’Sh’awn and Day’Shawndra. Beginning in one week, at least three white people must agree with the name before a black mother can name her child. “Hopefully we can see a lot more black children with sensible names like Jake and Connor,” Cabrera said. His ruling stemmed from a lawsuit brought by a 13-year-old girl whose mother created her name using Incan hieroglyphics. “She said it would make me stand out,” said the girl, whose name can’t be reproduced by The Peoples News’ technology. “But it’s really just stupid.” The National Association of Elementary School Teachers celebrated Cabrera’s decision. “Oh my God, the first day of school you’d be standing there sweating, looking at the list of names wondering ‘How do I pronounce Q’J’Q’Sha.’?” said Joyce Harmon, NAEST spokeswoman. “Is this even English?” The practice of giving black children outlandish names began in the 1960s, when blacks were getting in touch with their African roots, said historian Corlione Vest. But even he admits it got out of hand. “I have a niece who’s six. I’m embarrassed to say I can’t even pronounce her name,” said Vest, a professor at Princeton University. “Whenever I want to talk to her, I just wait until she looks at me and then I wave her over.” Cabrera’s ruling exempted black men because so few of them are actually involved in their children’s lives.

Condi Calls for Removal of Detroit ‘Naming Rights’ Judge Judge Ryan Cabrera Says His Naming-Rights Ruling Has Been Misinterpreted (Washington, DC) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is demanding the dismissal of U.S. Federal Court Judge Ryan Cabrera.

Last week, after becoming fed up with what he described as “stupid names,” Cabrera ruled that black women would no longer be able to choose the name of their own children without first consulting—and gaining the approval of—a committee of three whites. (See Federal Judge: Enough With the Stupid Names) “I am outraged that Cabrera has issued a ruling designed to minimize black women’s creativity when naming their children,” says Rice. “Having a unique name is a blessing. I might not have gotten as far as I have without the extra e and z in my name.” Rice has no legal authority to remove Cabrera from his post; however, she has started a petition for those in support of creative naming and the dismissal of Cabrera. Among the signers are a host of America’s black celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Erykah Badu, Bokeem Woodbine and half the players in the NBA and NFL. “We’re all examples of black people with unusual names who have beaten the odds,” says Rice. “We’re an inspiration to kids, like…well, I can’t pronounce their names, but they know who they are.” Cabrera contends that his ruling has been widely misinterpreted. “I’m all for women who want to celebrate their heritage by giving their children African names or other names that mean something,” Cabrera says. “They just need to spell them right.” Cabrera cited Uneeqqi Jenkins, a 22-year-old Detroit resident as one of the biggest offenders. While she named her oldest son Daryl, she chose to name her other children Q’Antity, Uhlleejsha, Cray-Ig, Fellisittee, Tay’Sh’awn and Day’Shawndra. “Quantity is no name for a child,” says Cabrera. “And the way her mother chose to spell it is just criminal.” I was not able to find any other news source so I began to read and behold, there was a footnote at the bottom of each story that was left off my email. What was that?!'So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...'You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.'She responded to my puzzled look by saying, 'Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?'Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which oneto take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, 'Lets get a pair for each outfit.'We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a ship wreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis I think I threw her for a loop when I said, 'That's fine, honey.' She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement.Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, 'I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier.
'I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, 'No honey, I don't feel like it.'Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled,'WHAT?'I then said, 'Honey! Kansas beat Memphis to win National Title

The game was nip and tuck for the first half. Although the second half the Tigers were on a mission to win and built a seven point lead early in the second half. The Jayhawks just would not give up and kept fighting to get back in the game.
Memphis had several chances to win the game, but just could not hit a free throw down the stretch. With just over two minutes left in the game, Kansas was down nine. But made several key plays to set pull the game within 3. Then Mario Chalmers hit a 3 to send the game into OT. With Dorsey out of the game because he filed out, the Jayhawks made the plays and won 75-68.

Memphis wins again , dominates UCLA

Memphis beat UCLA 78-63 in a very convincing manor. The 38-1 Tigers continue to roll pass their opponents, while leaving the doubters saying the next team will beat them although they only have one more team left to conquer to win the national championship and that is Kansas.

One of the most dynamic moves of the night when Westbrook made a steal and was driving to the hole on Rose for an obvious 2 points and out of no where CDR pins the shot on the boards and the Tigers go back down to score.

Chris Douglas-Roberts was outstanding for Memphis, scoring 28 points on 9 of 17 shooting. Derrick Rose scored 25. Joey Dorsey was equally impressive with his 15 rebounds. During post game interview Rose said he could sense the UCLA getting winded so he knew he had to push the ball and not shoot jumpers. The key was to get to the line, and it worked.

Coach Calipari said "This is a dream team,"and every now and then when I think I have seen it all, one player will come down and do a moves that awes him.

Of course Memphis has done something no other team in history has ever done and that is won 38 games. If they win the National championship they will be considered one of the best teams in the history of the sport.

The beauty of a rose, captures many hearts. It can not only make you smile but it has help heal as well.
Things You Need cotton balls rose petals sugar honey
Step 1: Use for a facial. Crush about 1/2 cup of rose pedals into a mortar and pestle. Add a bit of honey and apply to your face. Wash off with cool water after about 10 minutes. Your skin will glow and feel soft and supple.
Step 2: Use in the tub. To add some fragrance to your water, throw in a bunch of rose pestle. It makes for a rejuvenating experience.
Step 3: Reduce puffy tired eyes. Take two cotton balls soaked in rose water at room temperature. Place them over your eyes for 10-15 minutes.

Wyoming Governor Endorses Barrack Obama

Gov. Dave Freudenthal has endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination and pledged his superdelegate vote for the Illinois senator at the party's national convention in August. Freudenthal cited what he believes in Obama's. My belief is that Senator Obama is the one candidate in this race who possesses the skills to resolve issues in the economy while continually working on uniting the country. Freudenthal said he remains impressed with both candidates and will support Clinton if Obama does not get the democratic nomination. Obama has now secured the endorsement of three of Wyoming's five known superdelegates. John Millin, chairman of the Wyoming Democratic Party, and national committeeman Rep. Peter Jorgensen, D-Jackson, also have endorsed Obama.Nancy Drummond, the state party's vice chair, and Cynthia Nunley, a national committee woman, have yet to publicly support a candidate. Obama also will receive seven pledged delegates compared to five for Clinton.Overall, Obama leads Clinton with 1,632 delegates, compared to 1,500 for her, according to the latest Associated Press tally. Obama leads Clinton in pledged delegates earned in primaries and caucuses, while Clinton leads in endorsements from superdelegates.

Lee Hamilton endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for the presidency. Lee Hamilton the top of the heap among foreign policy elders. He is likely to be particularly influential among Indiana's Democrats who go the polls May 6. Hamilton called Obama's foreign policy positions "pragmatic, visionary and tough." He stressed Obama's ability to unify the country while also expanding the Democratic base, noting, Obama strongly appeals to the restless, practical, non-ideological, results-oriented Americans who will ultimately be decisive in choosing the next president." Hamilton said that he asked the question, ‘What kind of leadership does the country need at this particular juncture in its history?’ We've got enormous challenges both domestic and foreign. So I support the election of Sen. Obama for several reasons. He has the best opportunity to create a sense of national unity and to transcend the divisions in the country. He's a person that strikes me as one who seeks the politics of consensus. I believe the political skill most needed in the country today ... is the ability to bring people together; not to drive them apart." Hamilton continued, "Driving people apart is relatively easy to do; bringing them together is very difficult to do. Recently in the news I heard this story about a 12-year-old girl dancing nude at a strip club in TX. I could not believe the story when I first heard it. To make matters worse the young girl not only stripped, but she worked for a couple of week. This is in my mind on how she was hired that day.

(girl) Hello Sir, I need a job.

(club owner) You sure have a nice body, how old are you?

(girl) I'm 18, I'll be 19 in November

(Club owner) Can you dance?

(girl) yes, I can (five minutes of shaking what her mama gave her)

(Club owner) Wheeew, you got some move little lady, and you are 18?

(girl) yes sir

(Club Owner) good your hired you can start tonight!!!

She danced that night and made about $100. The child mothers said she had the body of a 20-year-old.

The mere fact that a 12-year-old girl danced nude at a northwest Dallas strip club isn't enough to close its doors.
That's because the city ordinance that regulates sexually oriented businesses does not allow authorities to revoke the license of such a business for employing someone under the age of 18.
