Everyday I have to go to the gas pump and the thought keeps hitting me as I put the nozzle in my gas tank... How much is gas going to cost me today! The month of May gas jumped 50 cents. The ideal that $5.00 dollar gas is still to come is really not that far around the corner when you look at this picture. Its almost depressing to pump $50.00 of gas and not fill your tank is crazy!
The ideal that I have to make a decision to eat or buy gas is now reality. The economy is suffering because of the failure of the government to control the high fuel prices. The stagnant spending of the dollar is creating a downward trend in the economy that looks like a recession. Just hold on for the economy is getting ready to make a 360 degree turn and the gas prices will soon start to drop because the increase production of oil is right around the corner, why you ask? The economy can not stand these fuel cost. At one point was $130 dollars a barrel, now its dropped back to $123 a barrel. What does that mean for us? Lower fuel prices. Also with the increase production of oil it will force the price of oil a barrel to decrease. Also when the fuel prices go down the economy spending will rise again, like the Phoenix!
